Pro Shop

Pro Shop Assistant     
 
Osoyoos Golf Club is looking for friendly, outgoing and detail-oriented people to join our team as Pro Shop Assistants.  The primary duties will be to assist the Head Professional with the Daily Pro Shop Operations. Some of the duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Booking Tee Times for Members and Guests
  • Collecting Green Fees and Cart Fees
  • Merchandising the Pro Shop
  • Performing Daily Cash Outs
  • Enforcing Club Policies

Candidates must possess strong customer service skills, be available to work flexible hours, and present a professional appearance.

Outside Services

Back Shop Attendant
 
Osoyoos Golf Club is looking for friendly, outgoing and detail-oriented people to join our team as Back Shop Attendants. The Back Shop attendant will perform daily tasks set out by the Head Professional and Pro Shop Staff.  Some of the duties will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Meeting and Greeting Members & Guests upon their Arrival
  • Washing and Storing Members Clubs
  • Cleaning and Maintaining the Golf Cart Fleet
  • Practice and Driving Range Area
  • Keeping a High Level of Cleanliness in the Pro Shop/Back Shop Area

Candidates must demonstrate customer service skills, be available to work flexible hours, and present a professional appearance.

Grounds Maintenance


Summer Employment:

The Osoyoos Golf Club’s Grounds Maintenance Department is accepting applications for Full Time Seasonal positions for the 2017 Season.  Located in South Central British Columbia, the Osoyoos Golf Club is situated in one of the most beautiful and historically warm climates in all of Canada.  These positions offer full-time hours with approximately 5 – 6 months of employment.  If you’re a golfer, or seasonally employed in the winter, this may just be the job for you!  These are Union positions with employees receiving associated benefits and playing privileges on both courses!  Strong, Hard Working, Responsible individuals can contact the Osoyoos Golf Club with resumés and references via email: asstsuper@golfosoyoos.com

The Osoyoos Golf Club’s Grounds Maintenance Department is accepting applications for 2 Full Time Student positions for the upcoming 2017 Season.  Located in South Central British Columbia, the Osoyoos Golf Club is situated in one of the most beautiful and historically warm climates in all of Canada. Food & Beverage & Kitchen Staff

The Greenside Bar & Grill is a full service, licensed restaurant establishment serving lunch and dinner, as well as operating concession kiosks, 7 days a week, typically April through to October.  We are a busy golf course and public restaurant that also caters to many large events.

We are looking to fill the following positions for the 2017 golf season. 

 

Head Chef

Summary of responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
- Reporting to General Manager and working with Restaurant and Event Managers
- Food Control - inventory, managing food waste, effective costing, product orders and rotation 
- Work Environment - Food Safe and health board requirements are in place and practiced, safe and clean work space, ensure effective communication between BOH and FOH
- Managerial - timely response to correspondence, scheduling, recruitment and training
- Menu Development - Seasonal, feature and catering menus 


Qualifications;
- Food Safe certified
- 3 years + in high volume and banquet venue
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Available to work flexible hours; evenings, weekends & holidays
- Red Seal Certificate an asset but not necessary

 

Full Time Line / Prep Cook

Duties include:

Station Set Up - responsible for preparing his or her station before the start of each service

Prepping Food - chopping vegetables, butchering meat or preparing sauces.  Depending on the needs of the kitchen, the line cook may also be asked to prepare items for other stations or for special events.

Cooking - responsible for preparing the items requested from his or her station.  Required to work with other cooks in the kitchen courteously and consistently as directed by Sous Chef or Executive Chef.

Clean Up - responsible for cleaning his or her station, and may be asked to help other cooks clean their stations, disposing of garbage, cleaning utensils, pots, and pans, and cleaning cooking surfaces.

Stocking - may be called on to unload delivery trucks and store inventory correctly, responsible for rotation of stock and quality control.
